STARK, Ella Anna Abel

Ella is beloved to all who knew her. She is survived by her four children, Margie, Tom, Clement (Butch), and Paul. She is also survived by her daughters-in-law, 14 grandchildren, 27 great- grandchildren, 2 great-great-grandchildren, her younger sister Marge Taylor, her nieces and nephews, as well as many cousins.
Ella was born in North Dakota, she moved to Indiana. There she met her love, Gregory Stark and they were married on October 10, 1935. Together with their four children, they moved and created a full life for themselves in Sacramento, California, in the year 1949.
Ella was active in the Sacramento Medical Assistants Society, even serving as President for one term. She was an avid bowler with several trophies to her name. Ella is known for her great accomplishments in quilting and needlepoint work. Her cooking and baking was sought after, and she was the gracious host to many a club and familial activity even into her last year of life.
Ella was a bright spot, ever a lady. She had an indomitable spirit, love, and joy for life and those around her. She was an avid prayer warrior and a firm believer in the Trinity. Her commitment to her family, friends, and faith are remarkable testaments to her unfaltering character. She is most definitely missed.
Services for Ella will be held Saturday February 18, 2012 at 1:00pm at Nicoletti, Culjis & Herberger Funeral Home at 5401 Folsom Blvd. (916) 451-7284
