Benjamin Abeyta, 90, passed peacefully at home with his family at his side on Sunday, June 3, 2018.
Benjamin served in the Navy; he was a federal fire fighter and he sold "Bennies Ice Cream".
He was preceded in death by his parents, Beatrice and Eutimio Abeyta; sisters, Virginia Abeyta, and Margaret Armijo; and his brothers, Richard, Tim, and Frank Abeyta.
He is survived by his wife, Mary of 67 years; sons, Benjamin (Geretta), Chris (Patricia), Joseph, Matthew (Becky), Marc (Nancy); 12 grandchildren; 14 great grandchildren; his brother, Severiano Abeyta (Dolly); sister, Jennie Vallejos (Alex), sister-in-law; Mary Jean Abeyta; Chris Abeyta; and numerous other relatives.
