Burton John Adams was a Seaman First Class in the United States Navy, assigned to the Destroyer USS Sigsbee (DD-502).
Burton was KIA in the explosion when the USS Sigsbee was attacked and hit by a Kamikaze on 14 April 1945, he is honored with a Purple Heart, Good Combat Ribbon, Good Conduct Medal, American Campaign Medal, Army Presidential Unit Citation, Asiatic Pacific Campaign Medal, WW II Victory Medal.
