Helene M. Abbott a resident of Seal Rock since 1968, died Wednesday at the hospital here.
Mrs. Abbott was former 50 year resident of Maupin, where she and her husband James, were ranchers. He died in 1979 at Seal Rock.
She was born June 7, 1901, in Myrtle Creek. Surviving are a son James M. Abbott JR. Maupin; three grandchildren and two great grandchildren.
Mrs. Abbott was a member of the Maupin Dig an Hoe Garden Club; the League of Women Voters in Lincoln County.
Funeral services will be Saturday at 2:00 p.m. at Smith Callaway Chapel with Pastor Asa Jenson officiating.
Entombment will be the Odd Fellows Memorial Mausoleum.
Pallbearers will include Frank and Harry Leeding, Bill Freeman, Jess Deeter, Scott Woodside and Al Blake.
