Funeral services for Mr. Roy S. Adams, 78, of Farmerville were held at 2:00pm Sunday, Dec. 4th at Farrar Funeral Home with Bro. Kurt Auger officiating. Burial was in Liberty Hill/Taylor Cemetery. Arrangements were under the direction of Farrar Funeral Home in Farmerville.
Mr. Adams, a retired grocery store owner, passed away Dec. 1st, 2011. He was a Veteran of the U.S. Army and a member of First Baptist Church in Farmerville.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Emmett & Annie Adams and 1 brother, Joseph Adams.
Left to cherish his memory are his daughter, Carla Rodgers & husband, Lee of Farmerville; 1 step-son, Glenn Gossett & wife, Melissa of Newellton, LA; 3 brothers: Jimmy Adams & wife, Joyce; Emmett Adams and Billy Ray Adams; 1 sister: Helen Luckett; 3 grandchildren: Jordan, Tanner & Mason Rodgers; 4 step-grandchildren: Renae Knight, Michael Gossett, Justin Gossett & Elizabeth Glass; 8 step-great grandchildren and many nieces, nephews and other relatives.
