Frank Adamets, 60, of Gladwin, died Sunday, Dec. 10, in Ford Hospital, Detroit, after a long illness. Born in Uniontown, Pa., on Jan. 15, 1912, he came to Gladwin County in 1918, at the age of six. Mr. Adamets was a member of the Sacred Heart Catholic Church. He was a carpenter employed by Wolverine Camper Co. and was a fomer deputy sheriff and city police officer. He was married to the former Donna Carbeno on Aug. 6, 1932, in Gladwin.
Besides his wife, he is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Jean Demsky of Midland and Mrs. Ruth Ann Linton of Detroit; two brothers John of Pittsburgh, Pa., and Joseph of Midland; one sister, Mrs. Helen DeBois of Gladwin; and five grandchildren.
Services will be held Thursday at 11 a.m. from the Sacred Heart Church. The Rev. Father Edward Trombley will officiate and burial will be in the Highland Cemetery. A rosary will be said tonight, Wednesday, at 7:30 p.m. in the Mathews Funeral Home. Gladwin County Record dated 12-13/1972 Column – 3 Page – 2.
