Norma Ackerman, 88, Hoxie, died Friday, March 30, 2012, at Good Samaritan Hospital, Kearney, Neb.
She was born May 16, 1923, in Sheridan County to L.L. and Ada (Selbe) William.
She married Gilbert Ackerman on Jan. 21, 1944, in Hoxie. He preceded her in death Oct. 19, 2003.
Survivors include two sons; two daughters, two brothers; a sister; nine grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by a granddaughter and three great-grandchildren.
Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Tuesday at Hoxie United Methodist Church; burial in Hoxie City Cemetery.
Visitation will be from 1 to 8 p.m. Monday at Mickey-Leopold Funeral Home, Hoxie.
Memorials are suggested to Hoxie United Methodist Church in care of the funeral home, P.O. Box 987, Hoxie, KS 67740.
