CONRAD - Henry J. "Hank" Aakre, 93, a U.S. Army World War II veteran, member of the Montana Softball Hall of Fame in Lewistown and former carpenter, died of natural causes Thursday, April 5, at Pondera Medical Cen-ter Extended Care in Conrad.

Funeral services are 2 p.m. Tuesday at Pondera Funeral Home, followed by burial with military honors in Hillside Ceme-tery.

Survivors include his wife of 73 years; a son; three daughters; a brother; 12 grandchildren; 27 great-grandchildren and eight great-great-grandchildren.

He was preceded in death by two grandsons.
