Mrs. Dorothy Marie Abrahamson
GARFIELD — Mrs. Dorothy Marie Abrahamson, 65, Peoria, Ill., former Garfield resident, died Sunday at Peoria following a heart attack.
She was born Sept. 18, 1896, at Kewanee, Ill. She was married to Anthon Abrahamson at Garfield. He died in 1939. In 1947, she moved to Kewannee, and in 1954 moved to Peoria.
Survivors include three daughters, Mrs. Darce Rutledge, and Mrs. Robert Wynd, both of Peoria; Mrs. Carol Thomson, Yates City, Ill.; a son, Charles William, Kinsley; a brother, Raymond Peterson, Kewannee, Ill.; three sisters, Mrs. Mabel Machesney, and Evelyn Peterson, both of Kewannee, Ill.; Monica Peterson, San Francisco, Calif.; and seven grandchildren.
Funeral will be 2:30 p.m. Wednesday at the Lutheran Church, Garfield, Rev. August Aden officiating. Burial will be in the Garfield cemetery.
