Mr. James Lee Abbott, 56, of Dewey, died Sunday at his home in Dewey.
Graveside services will be held at 2:00 PM, Thursday, April 26, 2012 at the Memorial Park Cemetery in Bartlesville with Pastor Joseph Auksela officiating. Visitation will be held from 5-7 PM Wednesday at the Stumpff Funeral Home. Funeral services are under the direction of the Stumpff Funeral Home & Crematory.
The son of Alice (Burton) Coke, James was born September 17, 1955 in Bartlesville, Oklahoma. He graduated from Dewey High School and worked at Central States Business Forms for over 27 years. James then worked for Vallis Printing in Cherryville, Kansas and had been working as a lift operator for Spears Manufacturing. He enjoyed hunting, fishing, camping, and camp cooking. Most of all, James enjoyed time with his children. He coached them in baseball, basketball and enjoyed playing softball himself. James will be greatly missed by his family and friends.
He was preceded in death by his grandparents, Roy and Rubie Burton; step-father, Earl Coke; one sister, Joyce Coke; father, Vernon Abbott.
