his wife of 53 years, Curtis Mae Jones;
children, Monique Austin, Valerie Jenkins, Derek L. (Salina) Jones and Daryl L. (Joanne) Jones;
11 grandchildren;
4 great grandchildren;
3 sisters, 1 brother;
many nieces and nephews.
He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force, having served 28 years. He was a Korean War veteran, and retired after 20 years from Logistics at Wright Patterson AFB. He was a member of the United House of God Church and was an avid baseball card collector.
Funeral service at Newcomer Funeral Home, 4104 Needmore Road with Bishop Harry Callaway officiating. Burial at Dayton Memorial Park Cemetery.
