Daughter of the late John A. Pledger and Addie Sutton, she was a longtime member of Wesley Chapel United Methodist Church where her funeral was held on May 4, 2012, with The Rev. James Koo and The Rev. Lee Humphlett officiating. She was survived by a son, Clifton Aidoock (Ellen); a daughter, Gail A. Lewis (Jim); two grandchildren, Sarah Chandler Lewis and Jacob B. Aidoock; a sister, Laura Alice Yoder; and an extended family of relatives. She was preceded in death by four brothers, J.A. Pledger, Joseph Melvin Pledger, James R. Pledger and Walter Ray Pledger; two sisters, Beatrice P. VanHorn and Florida Pearl Armstrong. She was an avid fisherman and she enjoyed cooking and sewing.
