8/11/23 Mary Parthena Rimmer has NOT been proven as a child of Benjamin and Amanda (Rimmer). There is an individual claiming that Mary Parthena Rimmer Bennett is the child of Ben & Amanda (Smith) Rimmer because of high DNA numbers. A comprehensive study of those numbers show the exact opposite. The high DNA numbers are her immediate family members whose DNA numbers would stay the same regardless of which Rimmer branch in which she decides to place Mary Parthena. That is because all of these "high number" DNA matches are from her grandmother on down to siblings. A comparison of DNA verified known descendants (cousins, aunts, uncles, etc.) show that Mary was not the daughter of this Rimmer branch. I'm so sorry this individual has decided to place such inaccurate information on Find A Grave as well as Ancestry. After downloading her DNA to My Heritage, we were informed there were no DNA matches with the authenticated DNA proven descendants of Benjamin and Amanda (Smith) Rimmer.
