He was born August 14, 1904, to Harm and Mary (Buss) Harms in Grundy County. He married Dena Ross of Wellsburg 17 years ago and had always lived in this vicinity.
Mr. Harms had been employed by the O'Koenes Implement Co. in Wellsburg.
Surviving are his wife; three children, Marian, Elmer and Leroy, all at home; his mother, Mrs. Mary Harms, Wellsburg; four brothers, Edward, Otto and Harold, Wellsburg; Paul, Robinson, Nebraska; five sisters, Mrs. Frank Folkerts and Mrs. Clarence Folkerts, Raymond, Minnesota; Mrs. Paul (Martha) Frieling, Parkersburg; Mrs. Henry Aalff, Wellsburg; Mrs. Gus Siefken, Holland.
Funeral services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at his mother's home and later in St. Paul's Lutheran church; burial in church cemetery.
