In 2001 she moved to Ocean Springs, MS to live with her daughter, Patricia and her husband Robert Zebley. Thelma and Charlie owned two businesses in Empire, La. and retired to Belle Chasse, La. where they lived for 17 years prior to her moving to Mississippi.
Thelma was preceded in death by her husband, Charles J. "Charlie/Shorty" Adam, Sr. and parents,
Stanley and Helena Grob of Bertrandville, La. in Plaquemines Parish. Brother, Stanley "Bud" Grob, Jr., sisters Nora G. Maltese and Helen G. Cosse. Grandchildren Mark David Adam and Jeanne Adam Frances Barcelona and their mother, Anna Kay Dugger Adam Goldstein.
She is survived by her children, Patricia Ansardi-Zebley and husband Robert A. Zebley of Ocean Springs, MS; Edward E. Ansardi, Jr. of Covington, La., Charles J. Adam, Jr. and wife Joyce Cousins Adam of Mandeville, La.; and Barbara A. Anglada and husband Frank Anglada of Covington, La.
She is also survived by 18 grandchildren: Christopher
E. Ansardi, Christine Z. Carbo, Scott E. Zebley and Laurie Z. Darling; And Sharon A, Amie, Cynthia A. Smith, Susan A. Furlan, Elizabeth A, Deshotel and Barbara Ann Anglada. Donna Kay Wilson, Paul J. Adam, Sr., Philip A. Adam and Charles Michael Adam and Wanda C. Rester, Jewel C. Morella, Gary Cousins, Randy Cousins and Steve Cousins. Along with her grandchildren she leaves 23 great-grand-children and 1 great, great-grandchild.
The family wants to thank Dr. Rick Hoover, Dr. Maftab Anwar, Dr. Brian Pitre and the staff at Ocean Springs Hospital for their excellent care. We especially want to thank the entire staff at LeMoyne Place Assisted Living.
The Funeral Mass will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Monday, June 16th, 2008 at Our Lady of Perpetual Help, 8968 Hwy. 23, Belle Chasse, La. The celebrant will be Father Otis Young.
Visitation will be from 9:00 a.m. Monday until Mass time at 1:00 p.m.
Burial will be at Our Lady of Perpetual Help cemetery in Belle Chasse, La. Arrangements by SCHOEN FUNERAL HOME.
