Helen renewed her Baptismal Confession of July 19, 1914 when she was Confirmed in the Christian faith at Trinity Lutheran. The Pastor was the Rev. Dr. William Mahler.
Helen attended Trinity Lutheran School graduating from the 8th Grade.
During her life Helen served her Lord as a faithful, life-long member of Trinity. She was active in The Walther League and served as an officer in the League.
Helen worked with her brothers and sisters on the family farm. She enjoyed being outdoors working in the garden and tending her flowers. She made clothing for her nieces and nephews and enjoyed quilting for World Relief.
Helen was preceded in death by: parents: Ernest and Sophia; brothers: Alvin, Herbert, Victor, Ernest, Paul, and Raymond; sisters: Edna Thomsen and Hilda Niemann; sisters-in-law: Viola Adam, Olinda Adam, and Leona Adam; brothers-in-law: Meenke Thomsen and Walter Niemann and nephews: Merlin Thomsen and Melvin Adam.
Helen is survived by: sister Velma Adam of Odell, Nebraska; and a host of relatives and friends.
Burial was in Trinity Lutheran Cemetery, Hanover, KS.
