Final Rites Slated For Havre Chef
Rosary will be recited at 7 p.m. Thursday, April 9, at the Holland and Bonine funeral home for Don Aafedt, 21, son of Mrs. and Mrs. Jeanard Aafedt, 1044 Grant ave., who died April 7 in a local hospital. Requiem Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m., April 10, at St. Jude's Catholic Church, of which he was a member.
Born Jan. 11, 1949, in Mullen, Idaho, Aafedt came to Havre in Nov. of 1964 from Rugby, N.D. He attended schools in North Dakota, South Dakota and St. Jude's grade school in Havre. A Havre High School graduate, he had attended Northern Montana College. He was employed as chief cook at the Swiss Broaster, and in his spare time he enjoyed hunting and fishing.
Survivors include his parents; four brothers, Ronald of Bozeman, Jeanard, Jr., Mark and Darryl of Havre; a sister, Julie Ann, of Havre; and aunts and uncles and cousins.
A memorial has been established to the Cancer Fund.
