Mr. Abraham was born Jan. 3, 1913, in Taylor, ND, the son of John and Eliza (Reihm) Abraham. He came to Steele County as a child.
As a young man, Mr. Abraham worked as a hired hand for many of the area farmers. He then farmed in the Little Falls and Hazen, ND, areas before returning to Steele County in the 1950s. Mr. Abraham worked for the City of Owatonna until 1966.
On Jan. 15, 1966, he married Alvera (Dunker) Gedicke at Lake Benton.
Mr. Abraham was a member of the Father's Club of the Owatonna Veterans of Foreign Wars.
Mr. Abraham is survived by his wife, Alvera; seven sons, Harold, Capistrano Beach, Calif., Lyle, Houston, Texas, Leslie, Curt and Warren, all of Owatonna, Dennis, Vancouver, Wash., Bruce, North Mankato; a daughter, Lois (Mrs. Jack) Weikel, Houston, Texas; four step-sons, Edward, Earl and Robert Gedicke, all of Owatonna, and Ronald Gedicke, Clarissa; two brothers, Carl and Melvin, both of Owatonna; a sister, Dorothy (Mrs. Clifford) Strong, Annandale; 21 grandchildren, 5 great-grandchildren; and many step grandchildren and step great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by five brothers and seven sisters.
Burial at St. John Cemetery, Owatonna.
