Wallvin T. Ackerman was born on April 04, 1930, at Hague, North Dakota, to George and Elzabeth (Brockel) Ackerman. This is the area where he grew up and attended school. He entered the United States Army on January 10, 1952, and was honorably discharged on September 20, 1953. he moved to Herried, South Dakota,and later moved to Baltimore, Maryland, where he worked for Sea Food Market.
Bob enjoyed hunting, horse racing and playing cards. he loved tinkering with old cars.
Grateful for having shared Bob's life are his best friend, Mamie Paterson and her sons, John and Tom Paterson.
He is preceded in death by his parents, George and Elizabeth Ackerman; sisters, Frances Hohenecker, Hank (Alma) Ackerman and Reuben (Viola) Ackerman.
