Ann Marshall Camp Aagaard, 92, of Amherst, passed away Thursday, June 28, 2012. Born December 1, 1919, in Amherst County, she was the daughter of the late William R. and Sallie Hesson Camp. Ann was preceded in death by her husband, Leif Aagaard, Sr. She was a lifetime member of Emmanuel United Methodist Church, where she was active in the Mary Martha Circle. She attended Longwood College. Ann enjoyed her role of wife, mother and homemaker. She was a wonderful cook and an avid gardener. She was especially known for her baking skills, and felt that there should be some refreshments in the house at all times in case company came by.

A visitation will be held on Saturday, June 30th, from 6:00

8:00 PM, at Driskill Funeral Chapel, 201 Grandview Dr., Amherst, VA. Reverend Vernie Barrow and Reverend Adam White will officiate the funeral services, which will be held at 3:30 PM on Sunday, July 1st, at Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 401 N. Main St., Amherst, VA. Interment will follow at Amherst Cemetery. The family requests that friends considering donations consider either Emmanuel United Methodist Church, 401 N.
