Rev. Stanley E. Wright, Sr., 91, 4006 Third Avenue, Rockmart, died Friday, January 13 in the Cedartown hospital. He was born October 8, 1903 in Polk County, was a retired Baptist minister and a member of Piedmont Avenue Baptist Church. He was preceded in death by his wife, Estoria Garner Wright and parents, John T. and Sara E. Johns Wright; son, Stanley E. Wright, Jr. Surviving are a grandson, Danny Wright, Sharpsburg, GA; great-grandson, Kevin Wright of Sharpsburg; brother, Rev. Jim Wright of Rockmart. The funeral service was held at 2 p.m. Saturday, Jan. 14 from the Freeman Harris Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Donald Wright and Rev. Ralph Kinnick officiating. Interment followed in Rose Hill Cemetery. Pallbearers were Kevin Wright, Jerry Garner, Billy Osborn, Steve Williams, Delbert Wright and Sammy Barrett.
