Funeral services were held Friday, Sept. 3, for Lem VAN DEBURGH, 70, of Beaver, OK. He died Aug.31, 1993 in Ochiltree General Hospital.
Services were held at the FirstChristian Church in Beaver.
He was born Dec. 19, 1922 in Beaver County, OK, and was a
lifetime resident of Beaver County. A 1940 graduate of Beaver High School, he married Opal Ottinger on Aug. 16, 1942 in Beaver.
He was a dairyman, farmer-rancher and auctioneer. He also
served on the Beaver County Election Board, ASC Board and
the Hospital Board.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Floyd and Oleene VAN
DEBURGH, and two sisters.
He is survived by his wife, Opal,of the home; two daughters, Nina
Beth HARGROVE of Perryton and Judith SAVELY of Houston; a brother, Floyd VAN DEBURGH of Oklahoma City; a sister, Leah Jane Abrams of Houston; five grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
