Services for Georgia Irene Smith were held at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Sardis Baptist Church with the Revs. Danny Keyes and Charles Clary officiating. Burial was in Brown Cemetery near Winnfield under direction of Southern.

Mrs. Smith, 78, of Winnfield died at 6 p.m. Sunday, December 21, 1986 at Humana Hospital in Winn Parish.

Survivors include five daughters, Doris Collins of Atlanta, Beula Keyes of Winnfield, Mrs. Glynn Gresham of Jena, and Vaudie Gooden and Bobbie Woolsey, both of Monroe; three sisters, Lorena Vines of Newellton, Una Luneau of Dallas, Texas, and Mrs. T. C. Roy of Austin; 18 grandchildren and 33 great grandchildren.
