1952 - 2012

Steven J. Reeves, 60, of Darby passed away Tuesday, July 24, 2012, at St. Patrick Hospital in Missoula. He was born June 24, 1952, in Tucson, Ariz., the son of Norval J. and Ruby "Josephine" Reeves.

Steven was raised and educated in Monroe, Iowa, and graduated from Monroe High School. He received his degree in electronic engineering in Des Moines, Iowa. Steven enlisted into the U.S. Air Force in 1976 and served until his honorable discharge in 1980.

Steven married Vivian Hume on June 5, 1976. He has been a self-employed artist since 1990. Steven loved music, he was involved in Scottish-Irish heritage and was a member of the Christian Motorcycle Association.

He was preceded in death by his son Michael Reeves and his parents. Steven is survived by his wife Vivian of Darby; daughter and son-in-law Charity and Chad Dembisky of Stevensville; and the "light of his life," grandson Gehrig James.

Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Friday, July 27, at the Daly-Leach Chapel in Hamilton with burial to follow at Lone Pine Cemetery in Darby.
