Mr. Abbott was born October 8, 1926 in Carroll County, TN to the late Charles Ben and Liza Ann (Jones) Abbott. He retired from the Ford Glass Plant in Nashville after 37 years of service; he was a World War II Army Veteran and a member of the Mason West Nashville Lodge # 612 for 50 years. He was also preceded in death by his first wife. He is survived by his wife, two sons, one daughter, three step daughters,and one sister. He also leaves four grandchildren, eight step grandchildren; twelve great grandchildren; two nieces, and one nephew.
