Mrs. Jennie Lee Cooper, 85, Mt. Pleasant, died Wednesday afternoon at Ball Hospital following an extended illness.
Born in Moorehead, Ky., she came to Muncie about 60 years ago. She was a member of the Harris Chapel Church at Mt. Pleasant.
She is survived by two sons, Taylor Cooper, Cleveland, Ohio, and Ireland Cooper, Muncie; two daughters, Mrs. William R. Herbert, Terre Haute, and Mrs. Roberta Reese, Mt. Pleasant; 16 grandchildren; 24 great-grandchildren; two great-great-grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews.
Services will be conducted at the Meeks Mortuary at 11 a.m. Saturday with Rev. Lloyd Dellenger, pastor of the Pleasant Valley Church of Middletown, officiating. Burial will be in the family plot at Tomlinson Cemetery. Friends may call at the mortuary after 2 p.m. Friday and prior to services on Saturday.
