Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Wednesday at the Sivert Funeral Home at Sumner, with Brother Harold Williamson of the Lancaster Christian Church in charge. Burial will be at Lancaster Cemetery. Friends may call at the Sivert Funeral Home after 5 p.m.today.
The deceased was a retired farmer and was born in Wabash County on June 27, 1903, son of William and Mary Abell. He was married to Tillie Comstock, who survives.
He was a member of Mt. Carmel Lodge No. 1155, Loyal Order of Moose.
Besides his wife, he is survived by his mother, Mrs. Mary Abell of Rt. 2, Sumner; three daughters, Mrs. Jean Thompson of Lancaster, Mrs. Kathryn Crosby of Broken Arrow, Oklahoma, and Mrs. Mary Mann, address unknown; and two sons, Donald Abell of Dwight and Chris H. Abell, Jr. address unknown;and several grandchildren.
