FUNERAL IS HELD
FOR W.T. ABLES, 78
Funeral services for William T. Ables, 78, 1706 Adamson St, LaGrange were held
today at 4pm at Ware Street Baptist Church. The Rev. R.C. Prescott and the Rev. Monroe Driver
officiating. Burial was in Shadowlawn Cemetery.
Mr. Ables, a retired textile workerm died Saturday at City-County Hospital following a serious illness
of about 3 weeks. He had been in declining health for 3 years.
He was a native of Birmingham, Ala., but had lived here 35 years working with Callaway and Dunson Mills.
Survivors include 8 daughters:

Mrs. Willie Masters LaGrange
