SENECA - Lowell D. Andersen, 53, died Monday, Sept. 3, 2001, at Great Plains Regional Medical Center at North Platte. He was born June 14, 1948 in Alliance. His parents are Dwayne and Nadene (Anspach) Andersen. He graduated from Thedford High School in 1966, and served three years in the U. S. Navy. He married Judy Wernke May 18, 1968. The later divorced. He was a volunteer fireman and EMT, and a ranch mechanic. He was a partner in L&L Repair at Mullen and operated a repair shop at Ault Colo. He is survived by Judy Andersen of Ault, Colo.; daughter Terri Sharp of Casper, Wyo.; son Kevin Andersen of Ault, Colo.; and five grandchildren. He also is survived by his parents, grandmother, Louise Anspach of Mullen; and four brothers, Darrell Andersen of Alliance, Dean Andersen of Mullen, Allen Andersen and Randy Andersen of Thedford. Mr. Andersen's memorial service will be at 11 a.m., Saturday, Sept. 8, at the Seneca Auditorium, Seneca, with Rev. Linda Martin officiating. Inurnment with Military Honors will follow the service at the Seneca Cemetery.
