Sudden Death of Old Timer.
Mrs. Charles Calloway received a telephone message from Silverton Monday evening conveying the sad news of her father, Charles Abbott, having been found dead in his bed, presumably from heart disease. The Judge was aged 74 years and was over here to visit his daughter about three weeks ago, in apparent good health. He was an old timer and well known all over Colorado, at one time in years past holding a high judicial position, one of the associates on the supreme court. Mrs. Calloway left Silverton on the stage Tuesday. He leaves a son also in Silverton.
