He quit practicing medicine about ten years ago, as his health failed him, but before that time he went where ever called and went when he knew he would never get paid.
He was a kind father and leaves to mourn his wife, Mrs Nannie Abell; one son, George Abell, of Winslow; three daughters , Mrs E, J. Eaton and Mrs Willie Maymon, of Sulphur, and Mrs Russell L. Ford, of Indianapolis. One son and two daughters preceded him in death. Burial was at Old Union January 31.
