Larry was born on January 25, 1932 in Nampa, Idaho to John and Agnes Adams. Larry attended Melba High School. After graduating, he joined the Air Force.
He married the love of his life, Mary Roberta"Bobbie" (Olmsted) Adams, May 1, 1951. They lived in Oregon, Fairbanks and Anchorage, Alaska, then returned to Idaho in 1980.
He worked as a police officer prior to moving to Alaska. In Alaska, he managed the Fuller O'Brien Paint and Glass Stores in Fairbanks and Anchorage. After moving back to Idaho, he enjoyed going to estate sales and auctions.
Larry had a few small farms that he and Bobbie lived on. He enjoyed buying properties, fixing them up and reselling. He was very social and always loved visiting with everyone.
In the last few years, Larry enjoyed spending time at Melba Senior Citizen Center. Larry attended many different churches, such as Nazarene and Baptist.
He is survived by his two sons: Richard Adams, of Oregon City, OR, and Steve (Kathy) Adams, of Bellingham, WA; two daughters: Rebecca Coleman, of Meridian, ID, and Kim (Brian) Dexter, of Nampa, ID; and grandchildren: Nicole Adams, Trevor Adams, Keith Dexter, Travis Kildow and Phillip Kildow.
Larry was preceded in death by his wife, Mary Roberta Adams; mother, Agnes Mather; father, John Adams; and stepfather, Melvin Mather.
Dad will be missed for his wonderful sense of humor and generous nature.
