Funeral services for Mrs Mary Abbott, 62, longtime Meeker citizen, were at 2 p m Sunday in the Meeker Presbyterian church with Rev Paul Allen officiating.
Burial was in Meeker Cemetery.
Mrs Abbott died Friday, in Coldwater, Kansas, home of her daughter and son-in-law, Dr and Mrs Ronald McCoy. She was born in Van Buren, Ark., August 13, 1896. She moved to Meeker in 1939 and lived here until February 1959. She was a member of the Presbyterian church.
Survivors are her husband, O J Abbott, Coldwater, Kansas; her mother, Mrs Sally Scott, Muskogee; two daughters, Mrs McCoy, and Mrs Ray Cummins; two sons, Muncy Adams, Route 1, Shawnee; Ford Adams, Oklahoma City; two brothers, Herschell Scott, Firebaugh, Calif.; Burl Scott, of Calif.; two sisters, Mrs Mac Grey, Parsons, Kan.; Mrs Ison McElmurray, Fort Gibson, Oklahoma; and 11 grand children.
Pallbearers were: Frank Clark, Jess Honeycutt, Cleo Broaddus, Leonard Berry, Clarence Hilton and Dow McElvany.
Gaskill funeral home was in charge of arrangements.
