Mrs. Dean was born January 3, 1917 in Bude, MS. She was the daughter of Wiley Louie and Della Campbell Wentworth. She was a member of Hopewell Baptist Church and was active in the WMU. She served as Circuit Clerk of Franklin County for 16 years and was a member of the Retired Teachers Association.
She was preceded in death by her parents; husband: R. G. Dean, Jr.; sister: Jenny W. Abbott; and brothers: Wiley L. Wentworth, Jr. , and Woody Wentworth.
Survivors are her daughter: Sandra D. Guice and husband Milton of Iuka, MS; grandchildren: Charles M. Guice, Jr. and wife Mary of Huntsville, AL, Mark Guice and wife Rose of Biloxi, MS, Angela G. Hammack and husband Jimmy of Terry, MS, and Jennifer D. Guice of Iuka, MS; 4 great-grandchildren; and 3 great great-grandchildren.
Pallbearers are Charles Guice, Mark Guice, Jimmy Hammack, Louis Wentworth, Lynn Wentworth, Jessie Dean, Barry Tyson, and Robin Wentworth.
