Bio
I started working on my family tree in 1968 and will forever be grateful for the invaluable information my Grandmother, Alice Atteberry Carter, gave me. She had a fantastic memory and all of the names and most of the dates she gave me have checked out over the years. Hopefully one of my five children and (so far) six grandchildren will continue the work one day.
Paternal lines I am working on: Hearn, Gardner, Windham, Johnson, Davis, Holt, Moore, Tillman, Wheelas, Butts, Peddy (Petty), Burke and Meacham. (all N.C.)
Maternal lines: Carter, Atteberry, Hamric(k), Johnston, Wiginton, Clark, Pendley, Ary, Cole, Ballard, Write, Miller, Madison (moslty AL)
