Now retired, I spend a lot of time working on my family's history, always learning something new, seeking records, and visiting archives and libraries. I have taken photographs of just about all the grave markers for our family in Illinois and have shared many of them on Find-A-Grave. I have been a member of the local genealogical society for about 10 years and have served on its board for about 8 years. When I'm not working on the family history, I'm enjoying time spent with my children and grandchildren.
