I started researching my family history nearly two decades ago, in a personal quest to learn more about my paternal grandmother, who had died before I was born. Research soon became a passion for me, as I realized how intimately the old families of my region are all connected. I have just joined the APG, and my research specialization centers around the Mason Dixon line (Washington, Frederick, and Carroll counties of MD; Adams, York, and Franklin counties of PA. My husband and I know the area well, and are willing to take "Sunday drives" to explore and learn more about the region's history.
