Bio

I have been researching my family history since the mid 80's. Most of my family are from Jackson County, Tennessee. My main lines are Stafford, Smallwood, Spurlock, Biggs, Rush, and Denson.

I've met a lot of cool cousins during my research journey. I'm grateful for all the research that has been shared with me and I always try to do the same. I do what I can to help adoptees find their birth families. Everyone deserves to know where they come from.

I'm in the process of rewriting bios for some of my memorials. They will be updated soon.

We inherit from our ancestors gifts so often taken for granted. Each of us contains within this inheritance of soul. We are links between the ages, containing past and present expectations, sacred memories and future promise. ~ Edward Sellner

The thing that interests me most about family history is the gap between the things we think we know about our families and the realities. ~ Jeremy Hardy
