Bio

Robert Heaven was born and grew up in Cirencester in the 1950’s and 60’s. He studied Popular Culture for a degree with the Open University, before moving to Sussex where he read Art History for a second Degree in the Cultural and Community Studies school at the University of Sussex. He went onto gain double Master’s degrees in Victorian Studies at London University and Information Systems at Brighton University. He was awarded a teaching Doctorate in FIne Art for his work as co-curator and part author for the Richard Redgrave RA exhibition at the Victoria and Albert Museum and Yale University in 1988.
He writes the Nostalgia page for the Wilts and Glos Standard newspaper and is currently writing a book on Cirencester's lost history for Amberly Press.
