She was 87 and a native of White Castle. Survived by husband, Joe Acaldo, Sunshine; two daughters and a son-in-law, Betty A. Breaux, Baton Rouge, and Jo Anne and Richard "Bubba" Adams, Denham Springs; three sons and two daughters-in-law, Joseph Acaldo Jr. and Dottie Acaldo and John Jude and Yvonne Acaldo, all of Baton Rouge, and Bobby Raymond and Carey Acaldo, Sunshine; 10 grandchildren and four great-grandchildren. Preceded in death by father, Camille Hymel; mother, Clara Theriot Hymel; three sisters, Celima Hymel, Celine Albarado, and Cecile Gomez; five brothers, Anthoine "Pete", Dewey, Ernest, Herman and Lezin "Joe" Hymel; and a granddaughter, Deanna Lynn Breaux. Pallbearers will be grandsons, Michael, Brent, Kevin, Terry and Aaron Acaldo; and a great-grandson, Michael Brice. She was a member of Ladies Altar Society of St. Gabriel Catholic Church and The Miraculous Medal organization. Rabenhorst Funeral Home East, 11000 Florida Blvd., in charge of arrangements.
