Levosher Kilby

CLAYTON, Ga. - Levosher Kilby, 74, of 112 Howard Gap Lane, in the Persimmon Community, Route 2, died Friday, Dec. 31, 1999, at Stephens County Hospital in Toccoa.

Born in Rabun County, he was a farmer and a carpenter. He was a member of the Rabun County Farm Bureau and the Flats Baptist Church in Scaly Mountain, N.C.

Surviving are sons, Jerry Kilby of Rabun Gap; Wayne Kilby and Donnie Kilby, both of Clayton, Eddie Kilby of Alpharetta and Mike Kilby of Tifton; brothers, Delo Kilby of Clayton and Ran and Ronnie Kilby, both of Waynesville, N.C.; sisters, Zanie Cook of Waynesville; 13 grandchildren; and 18 great-grandchildren.

He was the widower of Greta Frady Kilby and was the son of the late Caney and Beulah Frady Kilby. He was preceded in death by two brothers, Jackson and James Kilby; and two sisters, Zettie Kilby and Zoie Kilby Prince.

Services are at 2 p.m. Sunday at Hunter Funeral Home by the Rev. Dwight Loggins; burial will be in Persimmon Cemetery.
