Route 5, Dies
George Edger Stephenson, 78 Glasgow, Route 5, died Sunday at his home, following a five-week illness.A farmer, he was a native of Metcalf County, and the son of the late T.M. and Artenia Thompson Stephenson.
He is survived by his wife, Nettie; four daughter. Mrs. Lillian Burris, Edmonton; Mrs. Frances England, Columbus, Ind.; Mrs. Beatrice Neal, Glaswgow, Route 3, and Mrs. Barbara Wyatt, at home;three sons, James Stephenson, Glasgow, Route 3; Robert L Stephenson, Edmonton, Star Route, and Charles Stephenson, at home; a sister Mrs. Fannie Abner, Glasgow, Route 5, and 16 grandchildren.
Funeral services were set for 2:00p.m. Tuesday at the A.F. Crow and Son Funeral Home, with burial in the Big Meadow Cemetery. Rev Joe Richey was to be in charge of the services.
