Katherine Y. Coakley, 83, of Fredericksburg died Friday, Dec. 23, 2011 at her home.

Mrs. Coakley was a very dedicated member of Spotswood Baptist Church for 57 years.
She was a loving wife, the greatest mother, a wonderful grandmother and a friend to all.

Survivors include her husband of 63 years, Ramah K. Coakley; daughters, Carolyn Fines and husband Fred of Spotsylvania and Bonnie Ippoliti of Haymarket; two sisters, Elsie Bourne and Betty Fines both of Stafford County; three grandchildren, Jamie Daley, Brad Daley and Chasity Carter.

The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Thursday, Dec. 29 at Covenant Funeral Service, Fredericksburg.
A service will follow at 2 p.m. at the funeral home. Entombment will be in Sunset Memorial Gardens Mausoleum.

Pallbearers will be Donnie Fines, Jimmy Abbott, Tommy Scott, Wayne Habron, Jerry Habron and Ricky Habron.

Memorials may be made to Spotswood Baptist Church, 4009 Lafayette Blvd., Fredericksburg, Va. 22408.
