Mrs. Jessie D. Oder, 60, Route 8, Box 99 Cedar Grove community, died Saturday, November 4, at Humana Hospital Lake Cumberland following an illness of two years.

She was born in Pulaski County January 15, 1929, the daughter of the late Arthur and Stella Deloris Rose Sears. She was a homemaker and member of the Baptist faith. She was formerly married to Forest William Abbott.

Survivors include one son, Hank Abbott, Somerset; six daughters, Arlene Lee, Diane Bray, Susie Bray, Doris Bray, Judy Phelps, Dora Worley, all of Somerset; three brothers, McKinley, Hobert and Vernon Sears, all of Colorado; six sisters, Sarah Ward, Martha Ridner, Annie Abbott, Alberta Bolin, all of Somerset, Ruby Chumbley, Columbia, Betty Cartwright, Dayton; and 15 grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents; husband, William Oder; and three infant children.

Services will be held at 5:30 p.m. Tuesday at the chapel of Pulaski Funeral Home with the Rev. J.S. New officiating.

Burial will be in White Lily Cemetery.

Visitation is after 6 p.m. Monday at Pulaski Funeral Home.
