Constantine m. Anna Stone 16 Dec. 1821, Watertown, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts. Anna was b. 2 Feb. 1802 in Watertown, Middlesex Co., Mass. Her parents were: William Stone (b. 6 Oct 1750, Watertown, Middlesex, Mass.; d. May 1808, Watertown, Middlesex, Mass.) and Hannah Barnard (c. 17 May 1754, Watertown, Middlesex Co., Mass.; d. 3 Nov. 1834, Watertown, Middlesex, Mass.). They were married 29 Dec. 1774 in Waltham, Middlesex Co., Massachusetts. (SOURCE: J. Gardner Bartlett, Simon Stone Genealogy (Boston: Stone Family Association, 1926), p. 172)

Constantine is listed in an 1830 U.S. Census for New Bern, Craven Co., NC. In 1830 he had a wife (Ann Stone) and 2 children under 5, and in 1840 he and a slave were the only ones showing. Not known what happened to wife Ann and the children. Probably died.

Constantine m. Susan H. Stye 10 Aug. 1841 in Craven Co., NC. James F. Lincoln was the bondsman and J.G. Stanley was a witness.

There was an estate sale of Constantine's property on 4th & 5th of Nov. 1861. It was a huge sale, inventory listed on 33 pages. Constantine had large land holdings in Craven County (a part of which later became Pamlico County).

Notes: Daughter Sarah F. Ives m. B.B. Albritton 24 Feb. 1889 in Pamlico Co., NC. B.B. Albritton was b. 1818; his parents were Samuel Albritton and Tabitha Albritton. Sarah's mother is listed as Susan H. Linton. She had remarried after Constantine's death in 1861. B.B. was 71 and Sarah 45 when they married.

Daughter Susan m. Joshua Flours [Flowers] 23 Feb. 1873 in Pamlico Co., NC. He was b. 1851. His parents were Elijah Flours and Nancy Tingle Flours.

Daughter, Virginia "Jennie" m. Bryan Hartsfield Ives 24 Dec. 1878 in Pamlico Co., NC. Jennie was b. 20 Jan. 1856 in Pamlico Co., NC. Bryan was b. 15 Oct. 1852, Pitt Co., NC; d. Nov. 17, 1904, NC; his parents were Horace Ives and Mary H. Ives. Jennie & Bryan are both buried in New Bern Memorial Park. Note: Bryan's headstone reads "1906" but there are Estate papers dated 1904 whereby Jennie, widow, gets a judgment against her brother Charles Swan, executor of her husband's estate dated Dec. 6, 1904.

Note: Have not been able to find any record of Henry after the 1850 census. And interestingly, his name does not appear on the memorial sister Jennie had created for her parents and siblings. Henry must have died before Jennie's birth (1856), thus did not remain in her memory.
