Mike was survived by his daughter Michelle (Ralph Sauceda) of Medanales; sons: Daniel Padilla (Sandra) and Michaeal Padilla both of Albuquerque; step-son Leon Martinez of Medenales; grandkids: Jasmine, Alonso and Eliseo Sauceda, Daniel Padilla Jr., Angelo, and Isaiah Padilla, Vanessa and Alisa Padilla; great grandson Daniel Padilla III; brothers: Joe Abeyta, Leroy Abeyta, Rudy Abeyta (Alice), and Ivan Abeyta (Silvia); sisters: Vivian Vega, Loyola (Rick Sena), Eva (Lorenzo Varela), Polly (Steve Gallegos), Nora (Manuel Marrufo), Loraine (Roy Archuleta), and Eida (Tony Ulibarri); uncle Ruben Lopez; and many nephews, nieces, family and friends whom love their uncle very much.
A visitation and Rosary were on May 8, 2013 at the Rivera Family Funeral Home Chapel in Española. Funeral Mass was on May 9, 2013 Sacred Heart of Jesus Parish in Española. Interment followed in the Sacred Heart Cemetery.
