She was born March 4, 1929, in Orange, Va., to James and Sally Hankins Roberts. She was raised on a small farm in Virginia where she often helped her dad with the chores. Opal's dad often referred to her as his little tomboy.
Opal moved to Montana. Here, Opal Graduated from Lincoln County High School where she met Wayne Frost and they were married June 28, 1947, in Hardin. They made their home on Sinclair Creek near Eureka. They were happily married for 66 years.
Opal enjoyed camping and gardening.
A son, Larry, and nine brothers and sisters preceded her in death.
Survivors include her husband, Wayne Frost, of Eureka; and children, Barb Roose of Missoula and Brad Frost of Denver.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Friday, July 5, at the First Baptist Church in Eureka.
