Obituary
EDWARD PEAK DEAD.
Edward Peak, a retired grocer, died at 7 o'clock this morning at his home, 413 State.
Funeral services will be held at 4 o'clock Friday afternoon in the Roberts-Blue Funeral home. Burial will be in Memorial Lawn cemetery.
Edward Peak, son of the late Addin Peak and Victoria White Peak, was born September 14, 1872 at Emporia. He married Leona Satterfield at Americus on May 27, 1903. Mrs. Peak survives him. Besides his wife, he leaves a son, Earl M. Peak, of St. Louis, Mo.; a daughter, Miss Mildred E. Peak, Emporia, who teaches in the high school at Haven, Kan., and two sisters, Mrs. E. H. Abraham, Emporia, and Mrs. J. G. Lumley, Americus. A granddaughter also survives. Mr. Peak was a member of the First Methodist church of Emporia and the Elks lodge.
