DEATHS AND FUNERALS
Mrs. Addin Peak Dead.
Mrs. Addin Peak died this morning at the home of her daughter, Mar. E. H. Abraham, who lives five miles north of Emporia. She had been sick several months.
Funeral services will be held Monday afternoon at 2:30 o'clock at the Roberts-Blue Funeral chapel. Rev. O. E. Allison, pastor of the First Methodist Church, will conduct the services. Interment will be in Maplewood Cemetery.
Mrs. Peak was the former Miss Victoria Evaline White. She was born August 29, 1851, in Point Pleasant, W. Va. She came to Lyon county in 1864. She was married to Addin Peak in Emporia October 2, 1871. Mr. Peak died March 1, 1923, at their home four miles north of Emporia. Mrs. Peak was a member of the Methodist church.
She is survived by a son, Edward Peak, of Emporia; two daughters, Mrs. J. G. Lumley, Emporia, and Mrs. E. H. Abraham, Emporia; a brother, H. T. White, Mountainair, N. M., and a sister, Mrs. H. E. Glover, Iola.
