Evan was a retired ranch hand whose hobbies included fishing, hunting and especially spending time with his loving family. His parents and three brothers, Modesto, Meliquis and Levi Aguilar, preceded him in death.
Survivors include two daughters, Carla Letter of Idaho and Carmen Sisneros of Pueblo; nine grandchildren; six sisters, Vince Cachola of Englewood, Mary Mondragon of Ft. Garland, Jennie (Joe) Martinez of Littleton, Marcella Chacon and Eva (Ernie) Roybal, both of Alamosa, Berlinda (Mike) Martinez of Albuquerque, N.M.; three brothers, Adonice (Tina) Aguilar of Denver, Orlando (Pauline) Aguilar of Littleton and Tommy (Tina) Aguilar of Denver; and several nieces, nephews and cousins.
Graveside Services are to be held at 10 a.m. Saturday, July 16 at the Ft. Garland Community Cemetery. Arrangements are by Romero Funeral Home of Alamosa.
